Question balance
Half the statements are reversed, so agreement does not always point the same way. Without that we would be measuring the tendency to agree rather than an opinion.

The attributed positions
Each cell is a coded position on a specific statement, with a published source. An empty cell means no publicly stated position: it is excluded from the calculation rather than counted as neutral.
These positions are provisional and not fit for publication. They are subject to two-coder review before launch.
